Fresh from working on Oxford Street, London in the late 70’s and with a knack for fashion,  a young Mr Ashok Dosaj returned to New Delhi where he started manufacturing western apparel for retailers in Europe. His entrepreneurial journey began as he established Joyline in 1981!

Joyline started as a small apparel trading company with only a handful of employees. The journey ahead was paved with exciting business trips and fair visits to Germany and France, with the will to showcase the company’s capabilities to design and curate collections.

These years saw the growth of long lasting customer relationships, with communication being scarce due to a technology disadvantage (it was the 80s and 90s after all), the human aspect and the trust between companies became the key to a flourishing business.

Joyline went from strength to strength, leaning into manufacturing till late 1997, when a decision was made to re-invent the company and focus once more on design & supply chain services.  Thus began Joyline’s 2nd innings in 1999 as a sourcing, trading & design service company, and with it came the next generation of enthusiastic employees to assist Mr Ashok, with his continued entrepreneurial journey till today.

New relationships formed with factories based out of New Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Jaipur, Tirupur and Bangalore. Joyline’s supplier relationship spread across India, bringing enhanced product manufacturing capabilities.

 

The Hong Kong trading company was established in September 2017. Providing simplified and seamless bulk purchasing for its customers across many factories, all at once, with Joyline managing the complex logistics.

 

UK company has been recently established in September 2022, to enhance closer ties with its customers based out of the UK and Europe.

 

Today Joyline offers a strong support in Ladieswear and Kidswear design, but is always on the lookout to develop new product categories. From ideation to execution, we provide our clients with design services, sourcing, quality control and seamless shipping.
